Joy Riddle is an experienced and highly effective Criminal Defense Attorney. Joy handles all varieties of criminal court cases including Assault, Sex Crimes, Homicide, Drug Possession, Drug Trafficking, Theft, Appeals, DUIs and Vehicular Crimes. Joy practices in nearly every jurisdiction throughout the State of Arizona.

Joy received her Bachelors Degree in 2007 from U.C.L.A. before moving to Arizona in order to attend law school. Joy started her trial practice in law school as a Rule 38e (now Rule 36) and conducted multiple serious felony trials under the supervision of the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office. During law school Joy studied abroad completed an internship with the Inter-American Court of Human Rights in San Jose, Costa Rica. There, Joy studied and worked on a variety of cases focused on free speech and issues with governments limiting news media.

After law school, Joy started her career as a felony criminal prosecutor with a focus on Drug Trafficking offenses in Gila County. Although her focus was on Drug Trafficking cases and later on training new trial attorneys, she handled almost all types of major felonies as a prosecutor including Assault, Sex Crimes, Fraud, Theft, and Vehicular Crimes cases.

Since beginning her career as a Criminal Defense Attorney, she has represented clients from nearly all walks of life and enjoys zealously defending their rights and due process. She is an aggressive advocate in every stage of her client’s case and enjoys a high success rate at trial.

In her personal time, Joy enjoys spending time with her husband and their children. They are avid outdoor enthusiasts. Joy and her husband also both coach their children in youth sports and are involved in nonprofit youth organizations in their community.
